I like my name.
I was named after my Grandpa Sam. He is a lot of fun. I never met my
Grandma Glow since she's in heaven.
Grandpa Sam and
Grandma Leah came a long ways to see me when I was just
two days old.
When they visited
last, we had a good time at the beach.
Here is me, my
Dad and my Grandpa Sam: three generations of Austins!
Grandpa
Sam's Dad was named Sam too. I come from a long line of Sams! Here
he is with my Great-Grandma Maggie.
I was also named
after my great-great-grandfather Patrick Henry Garrity whose Dad came from
Ireland. Patrick drove a train.
That sounds like fun. He's in the engineer's seat below.
My
great-great-grandmother Mary Lucinda Ayers was pretty!
I won't have a
chance to meet Patrick or Mary Lucinda, but they had a son named Gene.
Gene and his wife Nola are my honorary grandparents. They live in
Seattle and they came to see me when I was just a week old. I also
have a Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Keith in Salt Lake City but I haven't
met them yet.

Here's a picture of
my godfather Uncle Richard and his friend Karen. They live in Dallas,
but they came to visit me and we took a walk through a forest and saw
a pileated woodpecker. They were fun and I hope to see them again soon.
This is my Dad's
family: Karen, Uncle Richard, Matt, Grandpa, Amy, Aunty Lynn, Dad
and me.
Here
we are a year later, this time with my Grandma Bubbe and Uncle Dennis.
My uncle Craig came
from Pennsylvania to visit me. He brought me a nice silver rattle and
some great books!

Here are my friends Aunt Celeste and Aunt Winnie, my Mom's
favorite Celtic friends.
This is my friend Dr. Price.
He takes really good care of me, but I don't like the shots very much.
This is Hannah Shargool. She and my Moms are friends who met on the
Internet. Then Hannah invited me over to play with her toys and it
was a lot of fun.
Here is the rest of Hannah's family: Megan, Nancy, Hannah, Simon and
Dustin. They are really nice people.
I'm always very careful when I pet Brigid the bunny. Mom says she is
one of our household goddesses.
